Star Sports betting shops

Ibstock Brick is the UK’s largest brick Star Sports betting shopsmanufacturer and supplier of brick products and is at the heart of the country’s building landscape. Following the completion of several successful projects with the business (including Star Sports betting) across sites up and down the UK, Ibstock Brick asked us to once again support them with the set up of a brand new facility in the Midlands.

The Atlas site, which plays a critical role in accelerating Ibstock’s ambition towards net zero operations, has been selected as their ‘pathfinder’ factory for testing, trialing and learning to ensure they manufacture building materials and solutions fit for the future.

Working closely with the Ibstock design and project team, the two-year project saw Woodward Group deliver a full turnkey solution for Ibstock, from the original design phase through to commissioning on site. Our scope of works included the installation of the electrical power network, HV upgrade, LV switchboard and distribution, star sports medicinefire alarm system, LED and emergency lighting throughout, compressed air, potable water, mains gas supply, air-conditioning units and an energy-efficient heating and ventilation system.

Throughout the project we worked with and co-ordinated numerous other trades, attended project meetings and updated project programmes, design drawings and schedules, always adhering to the NEC4 contract requirements.

Due to the success and efficient development of the new Atlas facility, Star Sportsplus our work across several other Ibstock Brick sites, we are thrilled to have been awarded a new project in Nostell, part of the Ibstock Futures division.
