Basic Concept

  • Reduction valve is replaced with turbines that produce electricity.
  • Reduces the water pressure from eks. 15 bar in, to 2,5 bar out.
  • Standard solutions, Francis turbines built on more than 100 years old know technology.  (10 – 2600 kW)

Utilize your own electricity from renewable energy resource.

  • Own produced electricity can be transported to the water distribution network for own use.  i.e. pump stations that normally have high power consumption.
  • Surplus power can be sold externally.
  • Independent of electricity supplier, high readiness in emergency  situations and in case of power failure.
